Moving is never easy, and Emerald Heights’ new Marketing and Sales Associate, Wendy Clough, knows exactly how challenging it can be. When Wendy was helping her parents with the decision to move into senior living a few years ago, she was overwhelmed by all the options and the process.
A few key individuals she and her family met along the way were incredibly helpful and key to their decision-making. After meeting with these folks and getting such invaluable support, they were also key in her decision to make a career change.
Wendy was struck with inspiration and knew she wanted to work in senior living and provide that same support to other families as they transitioned to senior living.
As a Marketing and Sales associate, Wendy’s main priority is to provide as much information as possible to future residents that can assist them in their decision-making process. She gives tours of the community and shares all the wonderful available amenities with the goal of people leaving the tour feeling like they just had a taste of what living at Emerald Heights is truly like.
Wendy graduated from St. Thomas University in Miami, FL, where she lived for several years. Throughout her past work experience, Wendy learned to put extraordinary customer service at the forefront of everything she does and she carries this mindset with her to Emerald Heights. She strives to make sure both residents and future residents feel heard and understood.
Since starting at Emerald Heights in June 2023, Wendy has seen what a unique community it is and has met and interacted with an incredible group of residents. Wendy’s favorite part of a tour is when current residents stop and share their experiences in making the decision to move, and also all that they love about living in this community with the people she is walking with. She says it is incredible to see how supportive the residents are of Emerald Heights’ mission: innovative senior living designed to help all the residents enjoy life to its fullest.
Outside of work, Wendy loves spending time with her three daughters, kickboxing, reading, playing with her puppy, and spending time with her new fiancé.
Wendy is grateful to be at Emerald Heights and she can’t imagine working anywhere else, as the interactions she has with the wonderful residents have become such a big part of her day.
When you see Wendy around the community, make sure to introduce yourself and if you want to hear a good story, ask her about her New Year’s Eve with Aerosmith in 1998!
