EMERALD HEIGHTS GRANTS $160,000 TO SIX LOCAL CHARITIES — Emerald Heights, a resort style non-profit senior living community based in Redmond has donated $160,000 to six organizations including University of Washington’s Alzheimer’s Disease Research Center, Eastside Men’s Homeless Shelter (Congregations for the Homeless), Food Bank Farm, Operation Nightwatch, Medic One and Evergreen Hospice Care. Checks were presented at the recent Emerald Heights Community Grants Awards Ceremony. The annual grant program will provide funding to local organizations that support seniors and invest in the future of aging. The University of Washington’s Alzheimer’s Disease Research Center received $50,000 from Emerald Heights.
