Emerald Heights, a resort-style non-profit senior living community in Redmond has donated $260,000 to nine organizations including Habitat for Humanity, King County Library System Foundation, Open Kitchen, Medic One, Bellevue LifeSpring, Evergreen Hospice Care, Sound Generations, Redmond Senior Center and The Sophia Way. Checks were presented at the recent Emerald Heights Community Grants Program event. The annual grant program will provide funding to local non-profit organizations that support seniors and invest in the future of aging. Habitat for Humanity received $75,000 from Emerald Heights.
