Back in March, citizens across Washington state watched as the novel coronavirus invaded both big cities and small communities.
As the virus spread and businesses shuttered, beyond just social distancing, citizens begged the question: What can I do to help?
Despite an unprecedented time of uncertainty, the state never dabbled in any sense of helplessness. The Evergreen State held true to its roots, and got to work.
Then, the state shifted from “me” to “us,” running by the motto: “We’ve got this Seattle.”
Senior Living facilities are receiving some support, too…
Emerald Communities, sponsor of two Washington senior living communities – Emerald Heights of Redmond and Heron’s Key of Gig Harbor – has donated $120,000 to pay for four ventilators to EvergreenHealth Foundation, a nonprofit organization dedicated to raising financial support for EvergreenHealth Medical Center in Kirkland.
